Still waiting...

Hello there to anyone who may actually read this...lol

We're still playing the waiting game right now. We have talked a lot about it though and have agreed that as soon as we have enough saved up to get our dossier off to China, we'll start paperchasing! With the current wait times, we should have plenty of time to get the referral/travel portion together before it's needed...I'm just getting too anxious...

Finals are fast approaching! Only two more weeks left in this semester!! Time certainly flies! I'm glad that I have my classes to distract me...for now!

April 29th is the anniversary of our very first date...April 29th, 1988...we have officially known each other now for 18 years!! Hard to believe...I certainly don't feel like it's been 18 years! It can't be a day over 10 years? Right???

Oh heavens...I'm getting old...

Guess it's been awhile...

I thought I should post something...anything...lol!

Not much is happening on the adoption front right now. We're still trying to straighten things out on the financial side of this whole thing. Chinese adoption certainly isn't cheap! There's a chance that we may still be waiting to start until early 2007. That seems like such a long time...But i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll happen sooner than we expect. :)

On the other hand, just because we haven't begun the paperchase yet doesn't mean that I can't shop! Dorissa's closet has a few things hanging up already...I participated in my very first Gymbucks promotion! It's hard to figure out what sizes to purchase since we have no idea how big/small she'll be. I'm currently buying 12-18 months...My mom is also a wiz with a sewing machine so we've been buying fabric here and there and just setting it aside for later. Once we have a better idea as to Dorissa's size, then Mom and I will go crazy sewing adorable little outfits for her!
